San Giorgio Beach
San Giorgio Beach is really beautiful. It is very relaxing and peaceful.
There are rented services though, including sections that rent umbrellas and chairs. If you prefer a more comfortable day at the beach, bring water with you. Why? Because for sure you will get dehydrated because summer in Sicily is not just hot but extremely hot. There are shops and restaurants that also offer food and beverages, or you can bring your own picnic to enjoy. An underwater break-wall off the shore helps minimize the waves. This is one of the reasons why families with children choose this beach other than other beaches in Sicily because it’s also good for children.
Feel the nice breeze, so it doesn’t feel stifling hot. The breeze combined with the endless space (without the break walls) makes San Giorgio. Looking at the back of the beach, the mountain is saying hello as you walk away towards your umbrella and chair. Yes! It is fantastic!
Moreover, indulge yourself swimming while enjoying the beauty of those who are flying from above going down in the mountain. Many locals and some foreigners are enjoying the parachute beginning from the tip of the mountain and slowly flying down.
